Hi, Socorro! I was glad to see your name in this 2nd Annual SF Fil-Am Jazz Fest. I lost the card you gave me when I met you at the old Piedmont Piano store in SF. I'll try to see you on Sun Aug 9 at Yerba Buena Gardens. I'm your fellow Filipina who first heard you at Nordstrom's on 5th&Market in SF. Saw you a couple of times at the piano store on 3rd St., then ran into you at the Manny Moka performance at Yoshi's SF earlier this year. I was with a woman friend, Marie. Hope to see you soon! Hi Kit! I don't know if you still remember me but I do remember you. I'm still singing and playing the piano, but now in cruises. I'm currently inTangier, Morocco and will be here up to December. I plan to visit the US 2nd week of December 2009, after my contract here expires. I am very happy you've found your niche in the music world. And doubly proud that you were a very good friend to me. I hope we can correspond. I still write songs. I just took a chance of googling your name and I was pleasantly surprised... Hope to hear from you.

Must be from all that loving, creative energy. Heart and talent! BTW, the clearest mental picture I have of you is during FWN's final rehearsal for TVM where you started getting teary-eyed when I ended the show with the Buell mother and daughter tandem bringing everything full circle with the traditional "pag-amen."
