Husband and wife, Norman Landsberg and Socorro de Castro, join the world famous Kruger Brothers again in this year's Bluegrass Festival, Carolina in the Fall, and some of the country's bluegrass, american folk and country music legends this coming October 17-18 in North Carolina.

Socorro de Castro will perform at the 3rd Philippine International Jazz Festival in Manila, a 16-day celebration set from February 29 to March 15. A truly international event, the festival features world-acclaimed jazz musicians, Lee Ritenour, Omar Sosa, Incognito, Raul Midon.

Socorro de Castro has been invited to the 3rd PHILIPPINE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL in Manila for 2008.

Due to popular acclaim, Socorro and her husband Norman Landsberg are invited back to play at this joyous musical festival, CAROLINA IN THE FALL, this coming October.

Socorro de Castro performs at the beautiful Westfield Center downtown San Francisco. She's also in charge of the musical activities in the shopping mall.

Socorro is presently working on several projects, one of which is a piano album of Filipino classics.

Socorro de Castro will be the musical director of Filipina Women's Network English and Tagalog Production of Eve Ensler's THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES showing for the first time in New York June 23, 2006 at the NYU Skirball Hall. She has been musical director of the shows in San Francisco's Herbst Theatre for the last 2 years.

Carmen "Pinky" Valdes' much-awaited christian/gospel cd entitled "Sandalwood" produced by husband and wife team, Norman Landsberg and Socorro de Castro, will be launched in a concert at the Manila Peninsula Hotel Ballroom on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 in celebration of Assumption Day, most appropriate for the occasion as Pinky Valdes came from Assumption Convent serving as high school principal for many years. One of the highlights of the day is a special presentation of the cd to Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, one of the school's most renowned alumni. De Castro will fly to Manila to join the "team" and be the musical director for the cd launch.
